We are excited to announce that GetJet Airlines is now an official member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
This membership underscores our commitment to the highest safety standards, operational excellence, and superior passenger experience. By joining the IATA network, GetJet Airlines becomes part of a global community dedicated to improving the efficiency, innovation, and reliability of air travel. GetJet Airlines have been compliant and certified with IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) standards since 2018.
To become an IATA member, airlines must maintain certification through the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). IOSA is an internationally recognized evaluation system that assesses the operational management and control systems of airlines, establishing a global standard that enhances the comparability of audit reports worldwide. A key aspect of IOSA is the implementation of a Safety Management System, which helps airlines identify and mitigate safety risks, ultimately improving overall safety performance.
Established in 1945, IATA is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing approximately 300 airlines from over 120 countries, covering 83% of global air traffic. IATA plays a crucial role in setting industry standards, promoting safety, security, efficiency, and sustainability in air transport. The association also advocates on behalf of its members on critical aviation issues and works to enhance the overall air travel experience.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Willie Walsh, Director General of IATA, for his support and for the leadership of the aviation industry. We look forward to contributing to the future of air travel together.
